I build only a few bikes every year and when you build a bicycle one at a time you think differently about what a bicycle can be.
It no longer needs a category, and its more than just a spec sheet. It becomes a labour of love for a specific person to cherish for a long time.Each bicycle is born from a collaboration — your ideas, preferences, and riding style, brought to life with my dedicated engineering and craftsmanship.The result? A bicycle and a ride that’s not only tailored to you, but also tells your story.

Every Palmer begins as a blank canvas. While we offer four foundational designs, each frame is customized to your fit, riding style, and aesthetic vision.

Road

The Fast Road is pure road bike. Smooth, fast and light. designed to channel all your power to the road.
With smooth, layered carbon joints. It goes as fast as it looks.
Compliant seat stays and seat tube keep it smooth. All the benefits of a lightweight frame that will climb with the best and descend with confidence.Available with Rim brakes with tyre clearance up to 30mm. Disc brakes with up to 35mm

Road Sport

The bike we made our name with. Sporting a classic profile and a beautifully compliant ride with the performance of carbon fibre. We dial up the style with a classic lug style joint.
With a mechanical groupset and rim brakes this is a beauftiful lightweight sportster. With disc brakes its the best of both worlds.For those long days in the saddle but with a deceptive turn of speed when you need to lay down the power.

AllRoad

Go far on any road with a true All Road machine. Lightweight and fast but ready to go off the beaten path when the tarmac runs out. With clearance for 40mm tyres and 2x or 1x drivetrains this bike is ready for whatever you want to throw at it.We also build the GT with Rim brakes and up to 35mm tyre clearance.

GRAVEL

Designed to go fast everywhere - especially on gravel. We keep it tight and reactive but with our trademark ride compliance to float over the rough stuff. With clearance for 45mm tyres and 1x drivetrains only.

Building a Palmer

Every Palmer begins with a conversation around a vision.We talk about how you ride, where you want to go and what makes your bicycle special to you - not just geometry and components.We are transcending the mainstream idea of a bicycle.

The materials are showcased in the finish. Handcrafted Carbon fibre and polished metals on show.The finish and final build are as unique as the frame to ensure the bicycle looks as good leaning against a wall as it feels at pace.The process is unhurried by design. This allows judgement and intention to guide each step, rather than templates or efficiency.No two bicycles follow the same path.

Disc brake Frame + fork + Integrated handlebar from $8,500AUD / $5,400USD (GST incl.).
Rim brake frame + fork from $7,500AUD / $4800USD.
Full custom builds available with the latest Shimano, SRAM or Campagnolo groupsets.

I build bicycles because I believe objects can be both functional and deeply personal. A bicycle reaches its full potential when it is designed and built for a specific rider — their body, their intent, and the way they want to feel on the road.This work is shaped by design discipline, material understanding, and careful decision‑making. Not speed. Not scale. What matters is clarity — in line, in feel, and in purpose. Each is a singular work, never to be reproduced.I use carbon fibre because it offers the highest performance and, when handled with care and experience, creates a ride that feels calm, balanced, and alive.Palmer bicycles are built in Australia, one at a time, for riders who value restraint over noise and experience over explanation.

With a compact silhouette and smooth joins, Drew's FAST ROAD is a lightweight racer.The carbon fibre tubing and joints are left raw which accentuates the stealth look, gold highlights are a classic contrast.Fast Road is about bringing the best of carbon fibre power transfer and light weight while smoothing the ride for long hours in the saddle.

With our classic lugged steel styled joints, Myron's ROAD SPORT is about classic lines and is designed for speed and comfort.Dialling in the fit was a top priority with a distinctive component selection to match. Mechanical shifting and rim brakes from Campagnolo Super Record makes for a truly classy build.Also featuring a custom carbon re-bodied Silca frame pump and unique pump peg enhances the old school style.

Introducing GR - gravel racer

Classic lines meets carbon fibre performance.
This is our take on a purpose built gravel racing chassis.Featuring a custom tubeset combining the stiffness and power transfer of carbon fibre with compliance and smoothness to keep you fresher for longer.
The position is dialed in for each rider for speed and stability. Low stack, tight rear.With the preferred tyre for gravel racing being 40-45mm, the GR with 45mm of tyre clearance is right in the zone for modern rubber.Designed for all modern 1x gravel groupsets with internal routing.

Every Palmer frame is designed and built by one person so the GR will be extremely limited.
