Performance, resolved with Elegance

Bespoke Carbon fibre bicycles, designed and built one at a time in the Macedon Ranges of Victoria, Australia

The opposite of mass produced

Designed at the intersection of performance and timeless style.Every frame a unique journey of vision, creativity and ambition.
Carbon Fibre wrought by hand into an uncompromised high performance machine

Designing an experience

Elegance through proportion, line, and simplicity and yet uncompromising in performance.Because form and function are interwoven. The eye instinctively understands the shape of speed. Each frame is shaped with clarity and focus on the desired result.

A bicycle should appear composed before it ever moves.

Performance isn't a number

Confidence, Comfort, Efficiency.
Three pillars of performance.
Confidence to push.
Comfort to endure.
Efficiency converting effort to speed.
-
Enhancing every ride, even on the most long and difficult days.

For ride quality and performance, carbon fibre is the only option.
Form, geometry, and construction coordinated only to serve the rider experience.
Performance is revealed on the road, not on paper.

uniquely Personal

Designed for one rider, built by one builder.
The process is deliberately personal: conversation, not configuration. Each a unique creation, an inevitable conclusion.

A Palmer is not built for a moment, but as a constant partner through the seasons.

I don't just build a bike for you; I build it with you. Wherever you are in your cycling journey, your unique experience shapes a unique machine.Exclusivity is guaranteed as the natural result.

Building a Palmer

Every Palmer begins with a conversation around a vision. We talk about how you ride, where you want to go and what makes your bicycle special to you - not just geometry and components. We are transcending the mainstream idea of a bicycle.

The materials are showcased in the finish. Handcrafted Carbon fibre and polished metals on show. The finish and final build are as unique as the frame to ensure the bicycle looks as good leaning against a wall as it feels at pace. The process is unhurried by design. This allows judgement and intention to guide each step, rather than templates or efficiency. No two bicycles follow the same path.

An invitation

A Palmer bicycle is a significant undertaking for both of us. It begins with a dialogue. I want to know your story, and how you wish to experience the places you ride. This initial contact is a chance for us to connect. It’s an opportunity for you to share your intent and for me to explain how I work. There is no commitment—just a shared appreciation for what a bicycle can be.

Begin a conversation

Tell me about what brings you to a handcrafted bicycle at this point in your riding life? (Is it a specific milestone, a search for better fit, something special, or a desire for a more tactile connection to the road?)
Is there something you feel is missing from the bicycles you have ridden before? Let me know in the form below.

I respond to every enquiry personally. Because this work is just me, please allow a little time for me to get back to you.

A single workshop and a single builder. Extremely limited output.Built for you, not for scale.

About

I build bicycles because I believe objects can be both functional and deeply personal. A bicycle reaches its full potential when it is designed and built for a specific rider — their body, their intent, and the way they want to feel on the road. This work is shaped by design discipline, material understanding, and careful decision‑making. Not speed. Not scale. What matters is clarity — in line, in feel, and in purpose. Each is a singular work, never to be reproduced.I use carbon fibre because it offers the highest performance and, when handled with care and experience, creates a ride that feels calm, balanced, and alive.Palmer bicycles are built in Australia, one at a time, for riders who value restraint over noise and experience over explanation.
